Back to Alaska with my family at Points North Heli Adventures

Well I guess I should post an entry about the other half of my life. For 10 weeks out of the year I live in Cordova, Alaska as the Staff Photographer for Points North. The whole team is my family. We host over 600 international guest over the course of our season and I get the pleasure of meeting them all and capturing the epic memories along the way. Our season kicked off with 3, "Blower Chugach" powder days during week 1. It was crazy to come back and already feel home. Week 2 we had another 2 great days in the zone, still finding the powder, followed by a huge reset. It's currently still storming and we are expecting 4 feet of fresh.....we are all kind of freaking out about how good its going to be out there...for those of you who have experienced this kind of powder, you know - these are the days we live for. I've been getting into lots of fun things on the down days including, ice climbing at the Sheridan Glacier, biking along the sound with eagles and otter, and cruising around town with the locals - all a huge part of what makes this home so special.
